Growing Our Community.

Community Tree is a grant assistance program that helps eligible homeowners cover the cost of removing dangerous trees that pose a threat to their property and neighborhood.

The Program

Financial help when you need it most

A damaged or dying tree doesn't just threaten your property — it puts your family's wellbeing, your home's structure, and nearby utility lines at risk. When the cost of removal stands in the way, our grant program steps in to help eligible homeowners protect what matters most.

Funded through community partnerships and public grants, Community Tree provides direct financial assistance to cover tree removal and debris cleanup for eligible applicants.

The Process

How it works

1

Submit Your Application

Complete our online application with information about your circumstances, photos of the hazardous tree, and documentation of your financial eligibility. No cost to apply.

2

Eligibility Review & Hazard Assessment

Our executive team reviews your application for eligibility. If approved, a certified arborist will schedule a site visit to conduct a professional hazardous tree assessment and document the risk. Following the assessment, your application will be prioritized based on level of risk and eligibility.

3

Approval, Tree Removal & Follow Up

Following approval, Community Tree will contact the homeowner to schedule a date for tree removal and cleanup, performed by a licensed and insured arborist. The homeowner will be responsible for providing follow-up documentation confirming the tree removal has been completed.
